Asprolithi is produced exclusively from the mountainous Roditis variety on the slopes of Aigialeia and it is an exquisite expression of this particular indigenous variety. It is distinguished by a bright green-yellow colour. Its aromas of fresh fruits with subtle notes of citrus in mineral background are proof of its quality lineage. Acidity and freshness balance the round body of Roditis. In the mouth it evolves harmoniously and ends up with an intense aromatic finish.

VINEYARDS

This wine comes from selected vineyards in the regions Pyrgaki and Trapeza on an altitude of 840-1100m. The soil there is poor with sandy beads and clay on a geological background of concrete conglomerates with sand. Those slopes with good drainage are facing north and are exposed to different temperature between day and night. This difference can reach up 20°C. Their returns on Roditis are not higher than 90hl/ha.

It is the ideal wine to accompany mediterranean dishes (feta cheese, stews, white sauces) as well as seafood and fish dishes.
