Mikros Vorias Sauvignon Blanc-Chardonnay
P.G.I. Slopes of Aigialeia
This is a wine with “intensively aromatic personality”. It is the outcome of two varieties’ blend: Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay both brought up on the mountainous slopes of Aigialeia. The typical aromas of both varieties, melange harmoniously in a combination that brings up an aromatic set of citrus fruits, green and exotic fruits and green notes of asparagus. It is rich and aromatic in the mouth with a cool acidity and an intensively aromatic finish.
The selected vineyards for this wine are in the regions Fteri and Paraskevi in an altitude of 800-1,000m. Their soil is high in acidity but also contains parts of calcareous clay with high limestone content. They are well drained slopes with exposure to the north and they endure difference of temperature up to 20°C.Their yields are no more than 70hl/ha.
