Tsigello

Grape Variety Tsigello (Mavrodaphne)
Vineyard Altitude 500-650 m.
Viticultural zone Slopes of Aigialeia
Classification PGI Slopes of Aigialeia
Type Dry Red Wine
Leaving the plains for the hilly slopes of Aigialeia, the indigenous Tsigello variety truly achieves its potential, dropping its sweet profile to produce an irresistible dry wine whose earthy, full-bodied elegance immediately gained it international acclaim. Made with discreet interventions, the deep red Tsigello matures in handmade clay amphorae, which tempers its bold tannins, and is allowed to mellow unfiltered in the bottle, acquiring aromas of rosemary, bay leaf and eucalyptus.
